PLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director of Human Resources to join our

team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, strategic human resource leader capable of

growing and scaling with our organization.


PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1. PEO Liaison:

o Act as primary contact between LCB and its Professional Employer

Organization (PEO), managing all aspects of employee-related functions

by coordinating with the PEO to ensure smooth execution of HR

processes (e.g., onboarding, benefit administration, payroll, compliance,

employee relations, etc.).

o Provide timely and accurate communication between LCB and the PEO

to address any issues and concerns that may arise.

o Evaluate and recommend improvements to benefit programs.

2. On-site Human Resource Contact:

o Provide guidance and answer staff questions related to HR topics and

issues.

o Communicate important HR information to staff and senior leadership.

o Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and

strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.

o Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring

and talent management.

o Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including developing

reports and metrics from LCB’s human resource information system.

o Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new

technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law. Communicate

changes in policy, practices, and resources to senior leadership.

o Assist and coordinate grievances and mediate workplace disputes.

3. Policies, Procedures, and Training

o Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training,

initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource

compliance and strategy needs.

o Facilitate compliance training and professional development for LCB staff.

o Monitor policies for compliance and provide reporting of noncompliance.


TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 5 years of progressively responsible human resource management

experience, preferably in higher education or a non-profit organization.

Ability conceptualize and implement change.

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including labor laws, EEO, ADA,

and OSHA.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
